This may include weddings that happen overseas.
A consultation will provide you with the best possible opportunity to discuss your Wedding Day, and view both the albums and my work. Ideally a meet up would be great at my home studio, however if this isn't possible due to location, an online chat is more than sufficient.
Apart from discussing and talking photography...It will also give you the opportunity to meet me; please don’t under-estimate the importance of getting along with your photographer! Nothing more awkward than spending a day (let alone your wedding day) with someone you just don't click with!
Style of Editing
Before the editing is the capture...
I have always captured the photo as close to correct as possible - it is a flowing wedding day so you can't stop and recompose so I work hard at ensuring I am in the right place, correct angle, framing and camera settings are bang on - this goes back to film days where you had to properly think about the image as each click cost you money. These days, with Digital, you often hear about the shotgun photographers who take 1000's upon 1000's of photographs - they are in essence gambling that there will be enough in there to do something with during editing.
Once I have captured your wedding day, the next part of the process is editing...
I don't over edit nor fundamentally change the photograph.
The more you change the photograph the less natural it can look. I don't add a blue sky in to make it look sunny...!
'My editing style' - I apply my own preset to all of your photographs which I have created in Lightroom - I then 'tweak' each photograph manually to ensure colour balance is correct and consistent across your collection - At the end of the editing process I am looking for a flowing story of images that capture your wedding as you will remember it.

All prices include UK taxes and travel up to 50 miles
