Wedding Photographer Surrey – with Phil & Jordane

For me this Wedding started on a Cliff Top in Highcliffe Dorset…… I was in full undercover mode ready to photograph the moment Phil dropped down on one knee – The Proposal!

Thankfully for all involved it was an emphatic “Yes” from Jordane. Time to pop the Prosecco

Fast forward to the wedding day …. at Bury Court Surrey – A stunning venue just off the A31 just South of Farnham.

Phil & Jordane had the whole wedding day planned at Bury Court – starting with the Bridal preparations. It was definitely a high energy party going on – I didn’t need to ask where they were getting ready as the laughter and chatter was signposting me right there.

After an hour or so I caught up with Phil and his Groomsmen – There were a few nerves flying around however his 2 Best Men kept up the spirts.

Wedding time – Rachel from Bury Court sent word that the registrars were all ready and everyone was invited to take their seats (and finish off getting dressed!)

As soon as Jordane walked in the room fell silent and most people were smiling and crying simultaneously. Emotions continued throughout the entire ceremony (which I must be honest I kinda like to see! Sounds strange but when you witness two people who are committing their life to each other and you see the depth of relationship it’s inevitable. I stay as unobtrusive as I can possible in these situations, whilst positioning myself correctly to capture and record these special moments.

And breathe!

Let celebrations commence….. I had a good hour and and half to capture the congratulations – general good fun and their requested group photographs.

I personally like to use the venue, the people and weather dictate where we go for their group photographs so I don’t have a ‘we must always stand here’ approach

After the drinks reception everyone was invited into the Barn for speeches (and of course food!!)
