I am utterly delighted to be a Parley Manor Preferred Partner – I have been part of this amazing team for over 16 years capturing many weddings in the grounds from Spring through til Autumn. Here is a wedding from May – a beautifully sunny (as it often is on the South Coast!) day

Natalie had certainly bought the party people with her – her Bridesmaids were both getting ready and enjoying the bubbly simultaneously!

Charlie and Natalie chose mid May to get married (always useful if you want to see the foliage and grounds at that time of year). I met them the previous year and after spending time with them understanding their plans I was ready – at least I thought I was!

After the preparation photographs I headed off to Parley Manor https://parleymanorweddings.co.uk to meet up with Charlie & his Groomsmen before Natalie arrived for the ceremony – arriving in Christchurch wedding cars

This has to be one of my favourite moments to watch out for at any wedding – the final few minutes before the ceremony begins. The emotions, excitement and nerves – the is a super charged moment and you never know what may happen.

They left plenty of time in their wedding day schedule to enjoy the ‘Just Married’ moment and the gardens at Parley Manor.

As you can see from the photographs their wedding day flowed beautifully with the Merlins Catering Team serving drinks and canapés – that kept Natalie and Charlie’s guests, who had travelled down from London, more than happy whilst they themselves mingled with their guests.

Once everyone had a few drinks I started with the group shots that they had requested – on the wedding day I tend to manage the groups moving and directing people to the right areas for the photographs. Again sometimes its about the requested group shot other times its good to stand back and watch the pre or post photograph moment – sometimes I manage to capture a great story telling photo.
