Wedding Photographer Durlston Castle, Corfe Castle
Congratulations to Chris & Emma who were married at Durlston Castle in July 2014. I started the day with the girls at the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks for some preparation photographs. Before jumping on the Swanage Ferry across Poole Harbour. I met up with the Groom and his men in the Greyhound Pub at Corfe Castle where they were having a little drink before the ceremony. Chris got a bit emotional when I walked in (because it became very real!) and I managed to capture a lovely moment he had with his Mum – I don’t apologies for these shots – for me these documentary moments are what weddings are really about!
Emma on the other hand was in bubbly form when she arrived with her Bridesmaids for the ceremony.
During the ceremony Chris and Emma shared lots of smiles at each other during the vows and hymns, it went all really well and soon enough after both Mum’s had done their readings we were outside celebrating.
Chris and Emma wanted me to organise the confetti shot which I did – I wasn’t aware Emma didn’t know about the huge confetti canons – and as per my direction these were let off at the end of the line by the boys – much to her surprise!!!! I captured a great moment when they went off!
At Durlston Castle we did a few group shots, I managed to sneak a few delicious macaroons that Blue Bay events team had made (yummy) and soon as anything the first dance began – when I left the band was in full swing and the Bride and Groom were smiling ear to ear………..
Lovely day – congrats again – here is your day in 60!
