Wedding Photographer Crown Hotel Lyndhurst New Forest Hampshire
Shoes, Shoes, Shoes and some pearly whites.
I had been looking forward to this wedding for nearly 18months. I first met April and her tribe of family members at the wedding fayre held at the Crown Manor House Hotel. At first when 12 ish people walked towards my stand I started to wonder what on earth was happening! By the time the all left they had booked! But I could tell it both families were close and this was going to be a close family wedding.
Roll on 17 months and I was back in the Hotel this time with April and Richard (plus Mum and Step Dad) running through final plans for the day. It again went really well with them and we had made a few finer tweaks to their running times so we could get the most daylight in as possible.
The morning of the wedding I arrived to be greater by a smiling April who was hanging out of her hotel suite, beaming with her new glisteningly white teeth! In the room it was all systems go three bridesmaids a flower girl the make-up lady, multiple parents dresses, shoes a plenty, flowers and gifts that Richard had sent up earlier that morning. (smooth work buddy!)
When April walked in to the ceremony room I could see she had eyes solely fixed on Richard, I suspect she may not have noticed all her friends and family in the room.
The Hampshire based Registrar duly married April and Richard and left them smiling. Afterwards drinks, hugs and lots of confetti.
As part of our planning I took the bridal party off for a few photographs down the Lyndhurst high street. Then after the wedding breakfast and speeches we snuck out again for some evening shots. I tried something new strapping the flash to inside of their brolly so I could light them up. A short walk back and we at the point of first dance – boy it was a great day.
April and Richard congratulations to you both – it was a pleasure recording your day
