A beautiful family, friends and community wedding with everyone contributing to the celebrations, from the cake, decorations, wedding stationery, lingerie and even the wedding photography!!
The atmosphere of the day was simply relaxed, combining perfect wedding etiquette with a definite festival feel, with hay bales, Connect 4, Jenga and table football outside, overlooking the stunning Wiltshire hills.
I had had a couple of run-throughs with Simon and Rachel beforehand, and I knew every detail and nuance of the day as it unfolded, and it was just lovely.
There were many highlights of the day for me; the Church ceremony was a truly heartfelt God-lead service, the confetti and car exit from Church, the handmade ‘Bride Crossing’ lollipop stop sign (that thankfully worked a treat on our en masse walk from Church to the Reception Venue!), the decorated Venue that had undergone a dramatic transformation and looked just amazing, the guests enjoying themselves outside for many a happy hour playing games, including a newly invented game of human quoits!!!
The speeches were both loving and hilarious, with a touch cheeky rudeness and good fun thrown in, and then the band who were fantastic, had a crowd up on the floor throughout the evening.
A fabulous wedding celebration all round! Thanks so much Si & Rach for a great day!
